Tujuan	The first day of collaborations with Sumbanese singers/musicians and ritual poetry specialists were held in Desa Palanggay. All performers were selected by Ata Ratu and discussions were facilitated about the particular lawiti (traditional Sumbanese poetic couplets) that would be appropriate for the title and aim of each song. Discussions also centered around the correct lawiti for the traditional rice harvest accapella work songs. Some of the younger participants were not as familiar with the older songs as the seniors and were instructed by both Ata Ratu, Rija Wadang and Wunang Oktavianus Mehang Jawa (ritual poetry speaker for the Sumbanese original religion called Marapu), Amsel Lukunapu recorded three love songs before the remainder of the group began rehearsing and performing the accapella rice harvest songs. Following this Ata Ratu recorded a song about her home Desa Palanggay and all the participants of the recording session and friends and family that had gathered together that day to take part in the event. Rambu Lemba Huada recorded a final love song to close the event. Hari pertama kolaborasi dengan penyanyi / musisi Sumba dan spesialis ritual puisi diadakan di Desa Palanggay. Semua pemain dipilih oleh Ata Ratu dan diskusi difasilitasi tentang lawiti tertentu (bait sajak tradisional Sumba) yang sesuai untuk judul dan tujuan setiap lagu. Diskusi juga berpusat di sekitar lawiti yang benar untuk lagu kerja panen beras tradisional. Beberapa peserta yang lebih muda tidak begitu mengenal lagu-lagu lama seperti para senior dan diperintahkan oleh Ata Ratu, Rija Wadang dan Wunang Oktavianus Mehang Jawa (pembicara puisi ritual untuk agama asli Sumba yang bernama Marapu), Amsel Lukunapu merekam tiga lagu cinta sebelum sisa kelompok mulai berlatih dan melakukan lagu panen beras accapella. Setelah ini Ata Ratu merekam lagu tentang rumahnya, Desa Palanggay dan semua peserta sesi rekaman dan teman-teman dan keluarga yang telah berkumpul bersama hari itu untuk mengambil bagian dalam acara tersebut. Rambu Lemba Huada merekam lagu cinta terakhir untuk menutup acara.
